Single-unit management

One apartment or one house, with the same office behind it that manages entire buildings.

Residential building exterior

Single-unit management covers one apartment or one house, including marketing it for rent. The firm also manages single-family homes.

The work is scaled to one owner: price the rental, find a tenant, collect the rent, and keep the unit in repair.

What an owner can hand over

A pre-rental analysis is used to price the unit. Marketing, applications, and screening — credit, background, employment, and rental references — come next.

Rent is collected through the resident portal. Maintenance requests go to workorder@vnypm.com, and emergencies go to (718) 626-8833. The owner receives financial reporting rather than a stack of unsorted bills.

What this is not

Single-unit management does not include buying, selling, or brokering the apartment. Sales work is limited to coordination.

Included

  • Pre-rental pricing
  • Marketing the unit for rent
  • Application administration and published screening steps
